Slow mornings and cooked lentils

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and mornings are sacred. Having time to slowly wake up and get ready for the day really sets your mindset, therefore taking that time is important.

Vegetable bouillon, fresh basil and red lentils. 

Today’s breakfast was bread with cooked lentils and kale, soy yoghurt with müsli and soy latte with cinnamon. The recipe for cooked lentils is extremely easy but delicious: just rinse the lentils under running water, put them in a saucepan with some water and vegetable bouillon (or just salt&pepper) and cook under a lid for at least 20 minutes or until the texture is like thicker cream.
